Every surface WhatsApp Web leaks. Covered.

Nine independent toggles cover the elements that typically expose private information in shared environments.

Messages blurred
Open-chat message bubbles and chat list previews stay illegible to anyone looking over your shoulder.
Contacts hidden
Contact names, group titles, and profile avatars are obscured in the chat list and chat header.
Media protected
Photo previews, attachments, and the media gallery thumbnail strip all blur until you focus them.
Text input masked
Your own typing is blurred while composing — nothing readable leaks to a neighbor.
Hover to reveal
Reveal any element just by hovering it. Optional mode reveals the whole app while your cursor is over it.
Per-feature toggles
Turn individual blurs on and off — names only, or media only, or everything. Your choice.
Instant reveal option
Prefer no fade animation? Switch to instant reveal for snappy interactions.
Keyboard shortcut
Alt + Shift + P toggles the master blur without touching the mouse.
CSS-only blur
Implemented as a stylesheet — your messages are never read, copied, or transmitted by the extension.
Blurring toggles per-feature from the extension popup.

Privacy by design. Not by marketing.

The whole point of a privacy extension is privacy. Here is what that actually means for this one.

No tracking

No analytics. No telemetry. No SDKs. No third parties of any kind.

No servers

The extension has no backend. Nothing leaves your browser.

No content access

Messages, contacts, and media are never read or transmitted. Blur is CSS only.

Local-only settings

Only your toggle preferences are stored, in your browser, readable only by this extension.

One click. Blurred.

Free. Works on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
